Tua and Melody met almost 10 years ago, and when their paths crossed again a couple of years back, there was nothing stopping them. Engaged to be married in May 2019, Melody excitedly tells us, “The best is yet to come!”
Her fiance, Tua, approached Clink as he wanted to create a truly special engagement ring, worthy of his future bride. Melody relates: “Tua had been told by a friend that Aaron and the Clink team had great knowledge and experience in design, and Clink makes the whole process comfortable for the guy.”
There’s nothing quite like being surprised with an entirely unique, custom engagement ring, as Melody affirms. “I love that my fiance chose it for me, and that Clink gave him the confidence to succeed! It’s the perfect representation of the love we share.”
And the proposal was equally romantic. “Tua took me out for a beautiful dinner and proposed as we were walking by the water. It was spectacular!”
TYMON + HAYDEN
Hayden wanted to create something special and bespoke – an engagement ring that truly represented his and his fiance, Tymon’s, love. Searching for the perfect ring, he discovered the offerings in Auckland just weren’t his vibe.
Luckily, it wasn’t long before he stumbled across Clink and our custom engagement rings. Tymon tells us why he was so over the moon to find Clink: “Clink was just the perfect fit in terms of expertise and guidance, but with a non-pretentious and genuine approach to the whole process.”
And his perseverance and planning more than paid off. “We often go down to Hahei in the Coromandel, and an early morning walk is a ritual of ours. When he got down on one knee that morning, I was completely taken off guard! The fact that he had been planning away in the background leading up to that moment meant so much to me. The hard work from him and the patience of the Clink team created a ring I am absolutely in love with!”
For something as momentous as an engagement, it’s important to get the ring right. In this case, Hayden met and exceeded all of Tymon’s expectations and dreams. “I love that it’s unique, just like us, and a symbol of our future together.
